Subject: Plain honest
Harris' biography of Wilde seems to be one of the most honest and powerful texts on the Irish writer. In this text hypocrisy and malevolence are dealt with insights of class and hierarchy. English society is naked and its double moral evidenced. In my opinion, the fact that Harris shared the time and the space that Wilde lived in, makes the book a really trustworthy material. Two thumbs up without any doubt!
